Everyone has surely made or filled a form in their life. Nowadays all the forms for small size work and important works are getting online. You can never find a person who has used a computer and hasn’t used a form because the login page is also an example of forms. So in this post, I will be showing you how to use Google Forms to create amazing-looking and minimalistic forms. After you see the process of making one google form you can make your own forms with your requirements.
Introduction to Google Forms
Google Forms is an online free web-based software that is used to create and edit online surveys with multiple users at the same time. Not only that these Google Forms are used by many small and huge organizations for surveys and for creating analytics. Talking about Google Forms, web-based software and no extra installation are required to make or fill the forms, which is really simple.
How to Use Google Forms in Android?
Using Google Forms in Android is as simple as using it from the Computer. But as we create and edit the forms due to the small screen size, it might be quite difficult. Due to the website’s responsive design, you will not have a very bad situation editing or creating a from.
Creating a Google Form
- Open any mobile web broswer.
- Login to your google acount and go to forms.google.com.
- Now click on Plus Imge for new forms or chose from the templete.
Editing a Google From
For this tutorial post, I will be creating a new and blank form you can even use any template if you have used any kind of form builders before. Also, I will be making a form for the survey. I am sure you will be able to make any kind of form of your choice after you go through this post.
- Head Bar :
In the head bar you will be able to see for icons with a send button. If you are wellknow about this icons then you can directly go to step number two. Talking about the first icon it is a theme option once you click on it you will be able to chose a theme color for the form, add a header image and the font style.
The second icon shows the real-time preview of your google form. The third gear icon in the settings of your google forms in which the first tab is General. In the tab, the first option lets you chose the option of collecting the email of the “form fillers” known as Respondents. Also, let you chose if or if not to send a copy of the response to the respondents.
In the second option to reduce the redundancy, you can choose the option of limiting only one response for each google accounts. From the rest of the options, you can choose whether the respondents can edit their submitted respond and see the chat summary charts and text responses.
In the next tab of the setting which is known as Presentation, we will be able to show or hide the progress bar, shuffle question order which can be useful in quiz forms. Also, add a custom confirmation message which will be displayed after you submit the response.
The third tab is useful if you are making a quiz form. You will be able to assign point values to questions and allow auto-marking. You will get more options like to show the marks immediately after each submission or all at last. You can also allow the respondents to see if their answer is incorrect or not. You can even show the correct answer after the response has been submitted. Lastly, you can show the point for each question and the total points they have got.
Now from the Send button, you can send your form to the people. You can even embed the form on any website or webpage. Even shorten the link of the form you will be sharing. The three-dot icon is extra settings for the form from which you can invite collaborators to undo or delete the form. You can even generate a prefilled link.
- Info Box :
The first step is to add a form title of your choice. For this form, I will be adding “Survey By Tech Keywords” as the title. Secondly, you want to be adding a short description about the form of your choice.
